The Launch Here at Personalised Cards & Wrapping Paper Specialists Dom and Geri, we are thrilled to announce the Dom and Geri Design a Garment Competition. Unlike other design competitions this is one with a twist; Dom and Geri are looking for garments to be designed purely out of wrapping paper.
This is our first fashion competition and we are looking for the most creative individuals to submit a one of a kind design. You don’t have to be an existing designer to enter; we are looking for all creative backgrounds to submit their proposed garment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring designer to gain exposure and credit for their unique eye for detail. “The idea for the competition came from my daughter Geri, who has recently finished a degree in Textile Design. One afternoon whilst in the Dom and Geri office, folding a piece of wrapping paper, she commented that she might take some home to use to make a pattern for an item of clothing she was looking to make. It was from that moment that the idea began to form,” said Dominic, Managing Director.
How to Enter To enter the competition, all you need to do is submit your sketch, including notes about the garment, via your Facebook and Twitter Accounts. Tag Dom and Geri on your post and we will comment to let you know we have received your submission. The Dom and Geri Facebook page can be found here.
Inspire and Share Dom and Geri would love entrants to gain further exposure of their submission by sharing there designs on personal blog/websites. Insert your post URL in the comments box (below) and the readers and team can learn more about your garment design.
The Winner 
The Winner will get custom printed wrapping paper (of their choice) to manufacture the winning design, a photo-shoot with guidance from a London fashion influencer and a guest post on the Dom and Geri blog about their experience in taking part in the competition.
The competition closing date is on Friday 29th November and the winner will be announced on Wednesday 4th December 2013.

Terms and Conditions and Closing Date This competition is for some custom printed wrapping paper to manufacture the winning design, a photo shoot with guidance from a London fashion influencer and a guest post on the Dom and Geri blog. Winners of the competition will be selected from valid entries by a judging panel consisting of members of the Dom and Geri team and London fashion influencers. In order to be considered for the prize entrants must post their sketch onto the Dom and Geri ™ blog page at https://domandgeri.com/blog/ from their own personal blog or website. For entrants who don’t have a blog, they can submit their design via their Facebook page and tagging Dom and Geri in their post. The closing date is Friday 29th November 2013. Any entries received after this date will not be considered. The winner will be announced on Wednesday 4th December and will be contacted directly by one of the Dom and Geri ™ team. Dom and Geri ™ hold the right to with-hold the prize if the winner does not respond within 5 days after they where first contacted. The winner will be required to provide an address and the prize will be delivered to the address provided within 1 week. Customers are welcome to enter more than once however, only one prize can be won by each person. Entries must include all the details requested. All entries must be submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The decision of the judging panel as to who has been chosen to win is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
