LOL!

Now Valentine's Day isn't all about lust and love - OK it definitely is but there's also room for some laughs, usually at ourselves. Perhaps you didn't want to get a card dripping in sentiment adorned with hearts and clouds and Cupid etc (by the way we have nothing so gross at Dom and Geri). And you might not want a card which screams 'I WANT YOU NOW!!' like a hormonal teenager. Maybe you remain fairly normal around 14th February and just take it in your stride (OK who are you and what's in your diet?!)

Sometimes friends like to send funny cards on Valentine's Day to defy the couples! or more likely to remind them that they aren't getting any younger...shoulder to cry on and all that. Or perhaps you want to send your children or grandchildren one to remind them no one will ever love them as much as you do - trust us, they'll know after the tenth year running!

But try as we might if there's a potential love interest around V-Day we're definitely going to be flipping out on the inside even if it just shows as an occasional facial twitch. But if we nonchalantly give out a funny Valentine card we can try and look SUPER COOL. Even when they then see you trip over a chair and take out your supervisor.

Talking of disasters we want to hear your Valentine slip ups. To make it fair one of our employees through strangled voice has bravely told her story of woe:

I agreed to a blind date at a local Indian restaurant for Valentine's Day and that night armed with a handbag full of breath mints and my best friend, I set off to go meet him. I sneaked a couple of vodka mixers before we left to get my confidence up and unfortunately, my friend loved to play a prank or few. Giggling at the ridiculous notion of a blind date I was then forced against my will to be guided to the restaurant - blindfolded. Short story is that she forgot to guide me properly, I fell into a pothole like bloody Alice in Wonderland and surprisingly enough, didn't meet him. I'll never know if he was my Prince Charming...probably not.

We look forward to hearing your traumas!
