Hello, I'm Emily and I blog at Twin Mummy and Daddy, a parenting, travel and lifestyle blog.

Part of my role as a blogger involves networking. This is usually done on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and my most favourite platform of all, Twitter!

However once a year for two days bloggers from all over the country drive, fly and commute by train and bus to converge in London for a two day blogging conference called BritMums Live. It's the UK's biggest blogging conference and it allows bloggers and brands to meet, chat about new and upcoming products and events, plus of course it means bloggers get the chance to network, learn new skills and brush up on existing skills.

This year was my seond time at BritMums Live and that's all thanks to Dom and Geri. They very kindly sponsored me to attend this year.

Like last year I checked out the agenda and noted down all of the sessions that I wanted to go to, all of the brands that I wanted to chat to and of course the names of the bloggers that I most wanted to meet.

Upon arriving in London I met up with two other bloggers and we made our way to the conference together. It was much the same as last year which a mixture of keynote speeches, sessions and breaks which gave us some time to meet the brands who were at the event.

I went to so many sessions and although I didn't learn as much as I had hoped to, I did learn some important tips and skills and I had a really good time meeting other bloggers and brands.

Working with Dom and Geri gave me the opportunity to learn about the various personalised products that they sell. What's even more important is that I actually got to see some of those products in real life.

Armed with a bag full of sample packs containing personalised wrapping paper I proudly showed them to a number of bloggers before and after the event. All seemed very impressed and loved the idea of adding a picture of a friend or relative to a card, banner or even to some wrapping paper. I was able to explain about the range of products that Dom and Geri sold and I was very pleased to hear that one blogger even went and bought a personalised banner for her son's birthday as a result.
