From fairy tale evening ceremonies to bright and glorious daytime nuptials, when it comes to outdoor weddings the possibilities are truly endless. Whether your wedding will be held in a backyard, at a glamourous outdoor country estate or tropical beach destination, here are our top 10 ways to make it look and feel extra special.

Take full advantage of the natural setting and surrounds by incorporating them into your décor. Tying flowers to chairs along the aisle will create a blossoming walkway for the bridal party to make their way down.

Use wooden plaques to direct guests to the different sections of the venue such as the ceremony, reception and of course, the bar and food area.

Umbrellas can keep guests cool or dry depending on where your special day is taking place – you can never predict a sunny day in England! So if the weather predictions are looking rather chilly, add some throws to the mix by scattering them about on the chairs for guests to use to keep warm and snug whilst you exchange your vows.

If you’re expecting some downpours be sure to have some appropriately themed wellies at the ready for the bridal party too!
